Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology formulated and promulgated the "Construction Waterproof Coil Industry Access Requirements" (hereinafter referred to as "Access Conditions"), and it has been implemented since March 1.

“Entry conditions” provides detailed regulations on construction conditions and production layout, production scale, technology and equipment, energy consumption, product quality, and supervision and management of construction waterproof coiled materials enterprises. Among them, the scale of production, the new modified asphalt (including self-adhesive) waterproof membrane project single-line production capacity of not less than 10 million square meters / year, the new polymer waterproof membrane (PVC, TPO) project single-line production capacity is not low At 3 million square meters/year.

It is reported that at present, China has about 1,500 enterprises that have production licenses for waterproof membranes, and 443 enterprises above designated size. The corporate structure of the industry has been in a small, multiple, and scattered state for a long period of time and has failed to form an intensive scale operation. Analysts pointed out that the "access conditions" to improve the building waterproofing membrane industry access threshold, which will to some extent avoid vicious competition in the industry, help improve the overall production and management quality of China's waterproof material industry.
